Merit was appointed to design, refurbish and install the mechanical and electrical services for Technical Building A at British Airways' Flight Training Centre in Middlesex.
The project transformed the existing facility into a modern pilot training environment, incorporating a new flight simulator hall, mezzanine structure, office accommodation, rooftop plant and associated plant rooms. Working within a live, high-security aviation environment, Merit carefully coordinated all logistics, construction activities and engineering installations to minimise disruption while maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational compliance.
