Texas Instruments

Long-Term Cleanroom Delivery Partner for Semiconductor Manufacturing

Merit acted as the trusted design and build partner for the Texas Instruments (formerly National Semiconductor) wafer fabrication facility in Greenock since 2006, delivering more than 100 design, cleanroom and construction management projects in support of its six and eight-inch semiconductor manufacturing operations.

Working within a live operational environment, Merit has undertaken a wide range of cleanroom modifications, basebuild works and specialist tool hook-up installations to support evolving production requirements. Projects have included the design and construction of ISO Class 4 cleanrooms, installation of critical process utilities, HVAC and exhaust systems, electrical infrastructure, cleanroom fit-outs and facility upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption while maintaining the stringent environmental standards required for semiconductor manufacturing.
